Training Seminar: "Hard-Core Computer-Aided Investigation, Open Source Intelligence, and Digital Officer Safety"

On July 27th, 2018, the Fraternal Order of Investigators, the DFW Chapter of Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI), and the Hurst Police Depart will be holding a joint training seminar, “Hard-Core Computer-Aided Investigation, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Digital Officer Safety - Day I”. Steven Rambam, CFE, CPP, PSP, PCI is the primary instructor and as an ASIS "Triple Crown" All members of the ASIS North Texas Chapter are invited to participate. Upon the completion of this seminar,  participants will earn 8 CPE’s. A certificate of completion will be provided.

Fallen Dallas PD Officer Rogelio Santander

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, two Dallas PD Officers, Rogelio Santander and Crystal Almeida, were shot while responding to an incident at a Northeast Dallas Home Depot. Officer Santander died from his injuries on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, and Officer Almeida is in critical condition but recovering.

A candlelight vigil for Officer Santander is scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the Northeast Patrol Division, 9915 Northwest Hwy, Dallas, Texas 75238.
