Message From The Chair

Message from NTX-ASIS Chapter Chair:

Where are the Young Professionals or at least the young at heart? Let’s reach out to some college students and promote the Student Membership Dues of $20. ASIS International values individuals and for this nominal fee, individuals moving into the workforce have the opportunity to connect with like-minded security professionals. This month’s chapter meeting will focus on the YPs preparing to graduate into the security field. Please join us!

If you have not taken the time to renew your membership, please do so as soon as possible 2018 Membership registration. In order to receive information from the NTX chapter, you must be up to date in the corporate portal.

Our website is the focal point for the chapter communications. The NTX website is a place to find upcoming events that include our monthly luncheons, training opportunities, and outstanding networking events. It is important for members to register early for all events. We need to ensure we have adequate space and food for all attendees. If you would like to sponsor an event, please let us know!

Our CPP Boot Camp continues to be phenomenal! The boot camp offers opportunities to study with fellow security professionals in a small setting. Upon completion of the boot camp, participants become equipped with the tools enabling them to take the CPP exam shortly after. Other educational sessions will occur during our luncheon meetings, so please sign up if you would like to learn more about key security topics & speakers.

Allied Universal was named the title sponsor for our annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Night (LEAN)! The date is approaching fast and tables will most likely sell out. If you would like to purchase tables or individual tickets, refer to link on the website. You will not want to miss out on those spectacular raffle prizes! I look forward to serving you as the 2018 Chapter Chair.
