Military Resources

ASIS International and it work through the Military Liaison Council and individual Military Liaisons at the Chapter Level (including the North Texas Chapter), strives to be a valuable resource and leader in specific professional needs to members employed by the military, individuals transitioning out of the military into the private sector, and organizations and businesses involved in the relationship between the military and private security. ASIS International leverages the strengths of its certifications, training, and education programs to improve the military services' professional security competency.

The Military Liaison Council is established to assist the Society in achieving its goals by becoming the focal point for Society activities within all aspects of the Military Liaison discipline. 

The Council will assist the Society in achieving its Vision and Mission by:

  • Providing high quality training and educational opportunities,
  • Fulfilling the needs of members and potential members,
  • Providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas,
  • Assisting in the promulgation of guidelines, standards and ethic conduct,
  • Promoting the Society to key audiences,
  • Pursuing and maintaining strategic alliances with relevant organizations,
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of Society volunteer leadership and assisting in the continued strength of the Society
